✞ 1 Corinthians 1:18 ✞

This bible verse explains how Paul is now creating two groups of people; the perishing and the saved. Many years ago, the Romans used the cross for public execution, it was a symbol of criminals and their punishment. It wasn't until Jesus Christ died on the cross that it was then known as a powerful symbol.

Jesus died on the cross as a sacrifice for all humanity, saving us from our sins. Many of us have been brought to salvation, accepting God into our hearts forevermore - now being apart of the saved for all eternity.
Spend some time today reflecting why Jesus Christ would make such a sacrifice for you. Think of all the love he has for you and what good it may inspire you to do.
Bless you,
